We can be better off or worse depending on how we transition from one place to another. As a married man and father, transitions in my family involve more than just me, and yet so infrequently do we prepare ourselves for the growing pains these transitions can bring.
We are tools to help others become more like Christ!
Making The Transition
You know how you can know they're going through something? Because you're going through something. You may not have told anyone or are trying to hide it, but it's there when things are quiet and you can't brush it off with the nearest distraction.
I'm going to assume you want things to be better. Things may be great for you right now but I bet you want things to be ever better. In your family. At work. At your place of worship.
So what families do you belong to? I'm not just talking about the family of your birth. I'm talking about the family of coworkers, coworshippers, coplayers, and cowalkers through the streets you frequent. Who's in your tribe? Who could use a man or woman like you in their tribe?
Who could you help today as they go through the transitions you know nothing about?
You could change someone's life before lunch time.
Let's get out there and earn those tacos!
